Rekindle the Memories

When our pets leave us, their worst moments are our freshest memories. Remembering the happiness they brought us is the road to healing.

Celebrate the Love

Share with the world what made your pet so special. Look back on both the moments they were wonderful, as well as the moments they weren’t so much. I’ll bet that book with the toothmarks is a special treasure now.

Forgive Yourself

When our pet dies, we carry a lot of guilt and doubt about not able to have done more for them, but our not so great moments as pet parents. Remember that you had great moments as well.

About me

I’m Angela and I built this site, where we can pay tribute to the pets that enrich our lives.

Losing a pet sucks. The worst part about it is that the last memories we are left with are their worst moments.

We adopt senior dogs. We have had four dogs in the last six years. We lost the first one to old age, the next two to cancer, and the last one we just adopted last year. He is still with us and doing well. But I keep looking at him and thinking, “Please stay a while”.

I have found healing in revisiting photos and videos of when our dogs were whole and happy. The memories of the tragedy of losing them is still there, but they are no longer dominating.

I am hoping this site will do the same for you. Please share your stories, your photo, and your videos. Your pet’s story will join the others, and when your friends and family visit that link, it will pop up with its own page.

We have our pets for a limited time. If your pet is still here, take as many photos and videos as you can, because they will be priceless treasure some day.
